Welcome to Lazy J Campground

Welcome to Lazy J Campground! A Peaceful and friendly family campground with full amenities. We are located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Safe, peaceful, spacious sites with recreation galore. We offer large, heavily wooded sites. Primitive Camping or we have 32 total RV sites (12 full hookup sites, 20 water & electric sites) can accommodate RVs up to 40 ft, 30 or 50-amp service, bathhouse with showers, dump station, shaded sites with fire ring and pick-nick table, riverfront campground on the north fork of the French Broad River, fishing, tubing, playground, ball fields, horseshoes.

Located 10 miles from Brevard and 40 miles from Asheville. Area attractions include: Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Brevard Music Center, Mount Mitchell, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee-Maggie Valley, hiking, river rafting, canoeing, state parks, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN.

We welcome family oriented clubs and organizations.

Lazy "J" Campground is located on the French Broad River. Most campsites are located on the river or very close to the river. Let the sound of the river sing you to sleep at night.

All sites are separated from neighbors by wooded areas. Tent areas are located away from RV's. Pets are welcomed free of charge, they must be kept in unit or on leash, and refrained from excessive noise. All campgrounds have a maintained fire pit area and picnic table. Water is accessible to all sites.
